Larry Pacifico is a retired American powerlifter who was widely considered one of the greatest of all time in the sport. Born on September 29, 1947, in Youngstown, Ohio, Pacifico began his powerlifting career in the 1960s and quickly rose to prominence.

Pacifico set numerous world records in the bench press and total lift categories and won multiple national and international championships during his career. He was known for his incredible strength, technique, and competitive drive.

In addition to his success in powerlifting, Pacifico also competed in bodybuilding competitions and achieved success in that sport as well. He was inducted into the International Powerlifting Federation Hall of Fame in 1978 and the York Barbell Hall of Fame in 1996.
